 INDIA February-April 1992
The flight from Kenya to India involved a short layover in Karachi (Pakistan), where I feel asleep in the airport and almost missed the flight to India. On the short flight into Bombay, I looked around the plane
and saw only one other European, so I approached him after we landed and asked if he wanted to share a taxi into the City. He did, and we got talking, and we discussed our future plans. That was 'Steven Van Den Neucker' , and together with another girl we met, 'Julia Jacquel',
we ended up spending the next 4 months travelling together throughout India.
After 7 months of travel across Africa, the last thing I expected when I arrived in India was culture shock. But nothing could prepare you for this; the experience was like nothing else. Just the sheer pressure of people can leave you overwhelmed.
But after a couple of weeks, I adapted and spent 4 months touring my favorite country of the whole World Tour.

 USA July 1993
The visit to America only lasted 3 days.
It's hard to even say I visited America since I only visited a small town just outside Seattle, where I stayed with friends, sleeping off the jet-lag. But these last days were relaxing, while I prepared to fly home.
 ENGLAND July 1993
July 10th, 1993 - I came full circle. After 2 years and 2 days of traveling, through 27 countries on 5 continents, I finally arrived back in England. It was almost a relief to stop moving after so long on the road,
and I was ready to stay in one place for a while. But that feeling wore off quickly. After living in London for 4 years, I moved to America and settled in San Francisco for a few years, then finally moved to Phoenix.
Now
years after my 'round the World tour' ended, my travels continue on a smaller scale, accompanied by my wife and 2 kids. Those travels are documented throughout this website, and will continue...
I think everything worked out pretty well...
