Climbing Mt. Shasta, 1st Attempt
June 2001
Mt. Shasta is the second highest volcano in the US, second only to Mt. Rainier. Our first climb was incredibly cold and windy, and we climbed to about 11,000ft before our guide decided we had to turn around.
On the way down I think we all swore never to try and climb Shasta EVER again.
